Los Angeles, CA – September 11, 2009 – Bison Capital announced that it has sold its security holdings in Metagenics, Inc, the leading manufacturer and distributor of science-based medical foods and nutraceuticals to licensed healthcare professionals worldwide. Metagenics entered into a strategic partnership with Alticor, an $8 billion global company with a shared commitment to innovative scientific research and development of quality products. Under the terms of the agreement entered into by the companies, Alticor acquired a substantial ownership interest in Metagenics and Bison sold its holdings.
